Blackjack
Get closer to 21 than the dealer without going over. Number cards count face value, J/Q/K count 10 and aces count 1 or 11.

Gin Rummy
A fast two-player card game: build sets and runs, cut your leftover points, and knock before your opponent does.

Ask other players for cards and collect sets of four. The classic first card game for kids.

A partnership trick-taking game: bid how many tricks your team will win, then make your bid with spades as permanent trumps.
